I have had one on my car since I bought it. I don't have any headlight problems. I do have some pitting, but that means it is doing it's job..Protection. I did my pillars, mirrors and the front section of my roof and right at lip of trunk.

I have the headlights covered on several cars, after my 00 VW Jetta lenses were replaces for fogging and a crack. The difference I notice with the headlights covered is the diffusion of light. When you place the film over the headlights you will see at night a different pattern to your headlights. I called it the spider web effect ... for lack of a better term the light seems to diffuse at a wider angle and then also provide a series of narrow banding of black ... much like a spiders web.

The installing dealer wasn't the person who told me about the heat build up. Installer didn't want to do it because it would difuse the light. He didn't say he thought it would, he was sure it would. They had tested it with identical cars. This company does work for the local Infiniti, Volvo, Lexus, Mercedes dealers. They have done hundreds of cars over the last several years. I didn't have any reason to doubt him.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't notice if the light was diffused. Comments from others?
