How to Apply Megs PlastX

What is the best way to apply this polish, polish pad or MF towel? How long to rub in, any techniques?

My car is brand new and the headlights are super clear and clean. Will applying this help to protect it at all?

follow the directions. it's not a protectant. wait till they're dirty and looked scratched up. it clears them up quite well.

xpel sells headlight protectors. might want to check here:
www.autopaintguard.com

i would use soft foam pads (in my case Griot's orange pad) and use a
slower speed 4.5 or so on the RO.

i use an applicator pad then wipe/polish off with MF tower. haven't needed it for my g yet, but it works wonders on older headlights. if your headlights are new, it won't do anything. its a cleaner, not a protectant

I've usually hit mine with a terry cloth applicator pad, rubbing in small circles for about 5 minutes on each light, then removing with MF towel.

This past weekend I used a PC with a white pad, working up to 4.5-5 speed and it seems to have worked pretty well too. I was able to get a fairly significant scratch out of my tail light after a few passes.
