which part of the seats is actually leather? is the back, sides, and headrest vinyl? please help!

 

I thought the entire seat was leather, including the headrest.

It sure felt like leather when I cut into both of mine with the razor blade.

The price to replace the headrest is over $200 so I'm going to assume they're leather.

Okay, I checked my car, the only thing that feels like vinyl to me are the seat backs, and maybe the console cover, there is something about the way leather feels to the touch.

If you look real close you can see pours in the leather, vinyl lacks the pours and is more smooth.

Yes, leather feels rather "dry" when you run your hand across it, just like the steering wheel does, vinyl feels smoother!

With all this ambiguity about what's leather and what's vinyl, we should tip our hats to the vinyl designers and manufacturers for the fact that it really looks pretty good these days! Of course, it wouldn't hold up as well on a seating surface, but the looks are practically dead-on.

No I'm going to say the glass is half empty. The vinyl hasn't gotten better the leather had gotten worse. Its paper thin now to cut cost, (our & all cars) and streched over the same patterns as the vinyl manufcts. use. Either way I love this car!
