Polished my hazed headlights

I just cleaned the haze on my sedan headlights this weekend in about 30 minutes total using the 5 Minute Headlight Lens Restorer by CCP.
http://www.customchemicalpkg.com/index-2.html

The lenses were dull and yellow and look good as new now. The first one I did was the passenger side.

Front view after cleaning the passenger side. It looked like the driver side.

Another view from the top

AFTER

BOTH ARE LIKE NEW

Very nice!! I wonder why the sedan lights tend to haze up so much compared to the coupe?

Yes, but you'll have to apply a protectant after the scratch-x, I believe plastic-x already has some amount of protectant in it

I personally use Meg's #21 synthetic sealant on my car, IMO it has the perfect balance between a sealant look and carnuaba look, with very good durability. It can be purchased at some NAPA stores, or online.

sealants such as #21,FMJ,Zaino, etc leave a very glossy, shiny look like a piece of plastic, some describe it as sterile. Carnuabas leave a much deeper looking "wet" finish. Most autopians will argue a carnuaba will always leave a better look/finish at the cost of durability. A few products combine the two to try to get the best of both worlds such as Meg's #26. While #21 is a pure synthetic without any carnuaba, many, including myself, say that it has more of a carnuaba look than other synthetic sealants, hence the reason I use it. On metallic colored cars, carnuaba's don't get all the benefits of a deep look, so a sealant is usually the better choice for its added durability

Sealant protects the surface. Carnuba look gives a very deep shine. It's hard to get a long lasting sealant/shine w/ an easy to apply product.

I'm hoping my Optimium wax lasts for a good amount. It's ridiculasly easy to apply. I can't really comment on the shine as it's hard to get silver cars to really have that deep shine look. But when I met Hai, I remember his car being pretty damned shiny.
