Aluminum Pedals Installed *Pics*
Re: Aluminum Pedals Installed *Pics*
Everyone has their own personal opinion on this, but I can see why skeleton cru likes the all aluminum look in the willow interior, but I prefer the OEM aluminum pedals in the graphite interior because of the black backing on the aluminum pedal that shows through.

The "black backing" is rubber and also serves are grip for when your shoes are wet!
Cant wait till skeleton drives in the rain with his wet shoes...dangerous if you ask me... you go to press the brakes and your foot slips off... then what?
skeleton, i am not knocking-off your mod, they are nice pedals, and you did an excellent/clean job with the install, they look good, too ... let us know how it does in the rain though... unless you live in Cali where it hardly rains, i dont think it would be a hazard, heh

I envy you Rami. I remember back in the day you said this was your first 6MT car and you stalled a couple of days like 5 times on your way home. I too wish I opted for the 6MT =(
Anyways, pedals looks great. I prefer OEM pedals as well though...

I've already driven in the rain several times Rambo. We had some very bad storms here in the Bay Area last week. I did not have a problem with my foot slipping off the brake pedal. Like I mentioned before, each of the drilled holes and the outside edge of the pedal is a raised edge. This gives the grip you need.
I agree with G35_4EVR, the black accent to the OEM pedals does look good with the graphite interior.

yea man i got the oem pedals also. Got them from the dealership, made them give it to me as a gift instead of the stupid key chain and plate frame. All of last week it was raining and the oem pedals have a lil bit of rubber so it kept my traction on the pedals real tight. Didnt slip once off the clutch
