Just got a PC7424.
What speed should I set for applying wax?
What speed for buffing?

Wax at low speed, ~3-4, to get nice even coverage - thin coat.

Buff at higher speed, say 5...

p.s. not sure where you're located but you want at least 60 degree air temp to get a decent wax finish.

 

I myself wax at 3 and buff at 4.5 with a mf bonnet over a lambswool pad, but like it better a the pad the pc come's with.

 

Yeah...I also ordered the lambswool pad and microfiber bonnet.
And you're right....the bonnet fits perfectly over the foam pad that is included with the PC.
The bonnet doesn't fit quite right on the lambswool pad.

 

Yeah G wiz your right, The wax also come's off with the PC pad faster too for me.
