Neoprene Gloves

I bought a pair of neoprene gloves for use in cold weather car washing, and man, do they make a huge difference, my hands stayed warm, and I noticed very little problem with dexterity, I'm sold on these gloves. Paid $5.99 for them at Sportsmen's Warehouse, good investment!

So simple...yet so brilliant. What dexterity you did lose is probably not as much as what happens when they start to freeze from the cold rinse water. Great tip!

not a bad idea, but i prefer to just use warm water in the buckets or use ONR in the garage

I've been using similar ones Tom. I purchased some heavy duty rubber gloves with a felt like lining from Home Depot. They work great. Never had a problem washing in temps right above freezing.

Take them off and your hands are dry and toasty.........and clean as a whistle as well.

Good idea Tom. I've used gloves for many years here in the GWN.

warm water does the job for me.

I rather use my bare hand and feel the car and dirt then the glove.

Yep, clean, dry, warm hands! Ha, the water on the ground of the car wash bay was freezing, but my hands were warm!

I'll keep my eye out for the guy with the clean car and black fingers, LOL!
But, even using warm water at cold temps, you still get numb hands, that water doesn't stay warm long! Besides, the gloves keep your fingers from getting chapped!

Exactly, probably even less than when your hands get numb, I've dropped the drying cloth with numb fingers, but had no trouble with the gloves!
