I'm a sucker for wet/shiny lookin tires So can you tell me what other products you have all preferred?? how it is applied and how long does it actually stay wet-looking? I also understand the spitting factor after youve applied the dressing and to let it DRY

I remember seeing someone's black G on here that had freakin SHINY *** tires and I asked him what formula he used, but he didnt respond... any advice would be appreciated

I use ArmorAll Extreme Tire Shine. That stuff seems to work the best.

 

I use turtle wax tire shine, Megs hot tire shine, Megs edurance tire shine, 303 aerospace protectant, armourall tire shine and spray. The most shine I got with the Megs hot shine and the best one I like for the tire's was the 303 AP

 

i use extreme tire shine too. best product i've used so far and the tires appear wet for about a week

Edit: the product comes with a foam applicator pad which does a decent job of putting on an even coat

 

I stay away from any type of gel and foam tire dressing and avoid spraying products directly on my tires.

I use Turtle Wax's spray on dressing, but I spray it on a terry cloth and use that as an applicator.

I've found this method to be the most effective for me. I don't get any spit at all.

 

terry cloth on your tires??? don't you get lint all over them? if anything i'd use a lint free cloth or MF, but there's applicators out there for tire dressing

 

None whatsoever.

 

I use Eagle One Spray. I spray it onto the foam applicator pad. However, I am not big on super shiny tires. At a certain point, it cheapens the look. Here is an old pic of my car after a wash. Just enough shine, but not OD.

 

I use terry towels to clean the tire and they never linted once and yes there is alot of tire applicators.

And yes Ive done what Hero has done and sprayed on to the towel then apply... lint? what lint? lol

A couple that I really like... Zaino Z16 is just awesome and it won't sling onto your car. If you like a really wet look try "Looks Wet, No Mess"

^that's way too greasy looking for me. I do the same as hero and apply megs hot shot with a terry cloth. It leaves a nice satin finish.

 

I like a more satin finish now too, that's why I've switched to Zaino Z-16. You can basically buff it to how you want it to look. The really shiny stuff above however has longevity like I've never seen. Obviously it has the most shine the day you put in on but after a couple weeks you can take a clean cloth, take a couple swipes around the tires and a wonderful satin finish comes right back up. Also, there is no greasy feeling to it at all which is hard to believe but totally true.
