Going to pull the trigger on a UDM

What's up guys. As most of you may know, keeping an OB looking decent is quite a task. I've decided I'm going to invest in a UDM (Ultimate Detailing Machine). I'm also going to use it for my detailing jobs that I do on the side, since I've become a little more serious with that. I think this will be a good investment. If you guys got any comments or if any of you own this machine already, feel free to give me some feedback. I know most people that have buffers here have the PC, which is pretty much the same thing, but I would sure like to know as to what type of pads and polishes people use with these as opposed to the hand method, which I have done for quite a while now. I will definitely give some feedback once I get my hands on this and try it out.

You should try getting the flex for corrections

+1 on the flex as it blows away what the pc/udm can do and does it much faster.I bought one a while back after not being able to stand how long a pc took to get the finish almost there.Well ever since the first use i was sold as it easily breaks down the polish and takes half the time a pc does. The pc has a hard time breaking down some polishes unless you use a 4" pad and it still does not warm the paint up enough compared to the flex.

I was considering a UDM, but I'm sticking to a PC for now. There still some bugs with the UDM:

I definitely might go with a flex later on, but right now a UDM is barely in my budget, to include extra pads and some Zaino to go with it...

I have the UDM and it works great for me. The only issues I've ever had with it (and I look at autopia on a regular basis) is the power switch. I have the upgraded switch, but have not installed it yet. You just have to get used to it and its fine.
