This may sound stupid, but...
Here in Frederick, MD, we are under severe drought restrictions. No Washing Cars at Home. We can use commercial washing facilities because they recycle water.
I was thinking about using today's rain to remove bugs from the front of my car. If I fill up a bucket of suds, wash the front of the car while the bugs are nice and soft, and then let the rain rinse away the suds, would there be any harm??? (to the car that is)

Wow, I really don't know the answer to that. I'm curious do you go to jail or get issued a fine if they see you washing your car?
I remeber when there was a big conservation ad campaign when i was younger for California.
