Best time of year to get bodywork done?
I had a huge piece of metal flip up off the road an hit my hood and rear quarter. The hood isn't horrible, but the rear quarter is going to need some solid bodywork.
My question...is there a better time of year to get this done? I'm assuming summer would be better so that there is no rain and the heat can cure the paint quicker. However, I don't want to wait that long to get this fixed. Is there any problems with doing bodywork during the rainy season?

if u have it done at a good shop they should have a booth with a bake mode so it comes out cooked and can be rubbed out within 30 mins to an hour depending on what booth they use. So you can paint it asap just make sure your body shop has one of these booths if not id find a new body shop

Thanks guys...I figured any good bodyshop would be able to do it year round...but just not sure if there was a specific theory when you have the choice.
As for your timing Kuneff...I live in Cali. The only ice I have to deal with is in my big gulp at 7-11. And snow? I forget what that looks like.
