Cleaning polisher pads?

How do you clean your polishing pads?

Till now i was rinsing out the different pads and spinning them off in a bucket. After a few uses, there is still some stuff hanging out on the pad. Is it safe to wash them in the washing machine? Obviously a hang dry, but unsure if the pads could withstand the machine.

I just wet them and squeeze out the excess water, then blot them on a towel.

To get them clean. Use an APC full strength and let it sit on the pad for 30 secs and then after that running hot water over it to remove the polishing residue. The method always works for me. Sure you can throw it in the washing machine. But I found out that shorten the life of the pads(Mostly the orange and yellow pads)

Buffer Pads....Hand polish pads....which?

The foam buffer pads just need to soak in hot water/soap for a while and then rinse out. The terry cleaner/polish pads get thrown out once they've
been used (they're cheap) My micro towels get washed after one use
and rinsed twice. I'm a freak about that kinda stuff because I really, really
dislike scratches....Twilight Blue is just like Black except it looks better....

Why pay 10.99 for a 12 oz spray bottle when you can pay that much for a gallon or 2.5 gallon on apc to to do the same thing or better.

I soak my pads overnight with Dawn & Murphy's Oil Soap then squeeze the polish/sealant out in the sink & blot them with a towel.

It helps to have 50 or so pads so you don't have to reuse the pads during your detail.

Here's a thread on Detail University discussing how some members clean their pads.
