Hey, debadged the car today. Used a blow dryer and dental floss. Emblems came off fine. A few rounds of adhesive remover, all visible glue gone. Area feels perfectly unblemished. No variation where the letters used to be. Only problem. I have shadowing.


What can i do?????????

the shadow will evenutally go away after alot of washes and waxes...i have no shadowing now..what color car you have?

Platinum Graphite. I figured Ill give it a day or so and then compount/buff it and hope that the shadow goes away soon.

+1 . . . Unless debadging is done when the car is new, expect a bit of ghosting/shadowing. It will eventually fade away.

Your going to have to polish the ghost lettering out.
