I know Clear with White bulbs are illegal, but clear/amber is, correct?

Not really, it must also reflect amber when lights hit it at night.

I took the lights from the oem corners..and put it on the clears..so its like a very light amber color..

 

but is it a deff amber versus the bright white?

the clear corners came with an amber bulb..and the amber corners came with a clear bulb..its not super white..

 

but is the amber bright enough to stand out as amber or is it very faint? I'd rather not get pulled over for that kinda thing (though I had clear with amber bulbs in sidemarkers on my old sentra)

i don't think that any cop would pull you over though just for the clear corners. i've had mine for a year now and nothing yet. the only time they may take note is when they bunch it up with an actual traffic violation. and with that, i would think that it's just a fix-it ticket. just change them out with the originals and have someone at the police station sign off on the ticket. after that, just stick the clear corners back in.

 

I've heard good things about having the amber bulbs in your car and saying 'I was just getting ready to change them with these I got at a friends house!'

It depends on state/county/city laws. For MOST jurisdictions, as our clear corners don't blink (unless you mod), they're considered parking lights. As long as they're not projecting blue or red (reserved for emergency vehicles), you're fine. One other thing, if you trick your car out like pimp daddy, you're just asking to be pulled over.

 

No matter what bulb you use its illegal. I called around(state highway patrol), and your front reflector has to be amber, and reflect amber light. This isn't a state to state thing its federal.

Blinker color is different from state to state, and doesn't have to reflect amber, (BMW, Lexus) but if you notice they have a seperate amber reflector to make their white blinker legal.

usually a police will not pull u over..but if they do..you know they gonna look around your car too see wa other infractions they can get u for..

I know that for a fact when I got my speeding ticket..they got me for my tint too...

 

I still think it sucks that such minor things such a yellow or white reflected light, are illegal!
