Re: Body Side Moldings on Coupe

They look so low that it I would doubt their functionality on a lot of cars...

Re: Body Side Moldings on Coupe

I was told that there 71/2 inches above the bottom of the door. My ding is 11, not sure if I want to get that high with the moldings if I choose to purchase? Thoughts anyone?

Thanks

um....that height is fine for protecting against door dings, unless some monster truck is parked next to you. doors are tall so the bottom part of the door will hit the side molding so the top wont hit ur car.

Body Side Moldings Install??

How easy is it to install the body side moldings on a coupe? Just leased a G35C 5AT and I figure these might help me avoid getting hit with any extra charges when I return the car... Way too many idiots here in SoCal who could care less about the car parked next to them. Do they come with instructions and glue when you order from Grubbs?

Thanks!

I like the way they look on the g35. not sure they really protect you much from dings though.

Actually they don't look bad. That said, I don't think I'll spring for them. For some reason on all my vehicles, it's the wheel wells that get dented far more than the doors or sides, and there is no real solution for that (at least not one that won't look tacky and detract from the lines of the car.) Guess I'll just keep parking a mile away from everyone!
