Are you doing it yourself, with a polisher? Likely you'll need both on hand

what pads do you have? A light cutting polish on a medium pad can sometimes get the job done, or a medium cutting polish on a polishing pad, you'll just have to feel it out

If you have to use the medium cut, you'll need some type of swirl removal to get rid of the medium cut swirl. What you need could also depend on what pads you have available to use. Also a PC isn't going to cut like a rotary would

i was thinking of ordering the lake country white polishing pad and blue fine finishing pad, as recommended by george of DetailedImage

and i really dont think i need strong cutting power, as the swirls are only evident under direct sunlight and arent severe by any means

Taking a pic of the swirl under an artificial light might help you buy the right stuff the 1st time.

You really should buy both, and an array of pads with at least 2 of each. Every situation will be a little different, and you will have to play with pad and compound selection to get a finish you are satisfied with.

if the swirls are as little as you say they are, you should be fine with a white lc pad and something like 106ff. If that doesn't do the trick then try 106ff on an orange pad.

^ +1. And if you need a little more cutting power, try SIP.
