Stuff on my leather seats!

I have never cleaned my leather inside yet, but notice some spots, some areas are like white, i have a graphite interior, and others are just clear sticky stuff on the headrest, prolly from the gel in my hair.... whats a safe way to remove these 2. I havent invested in a bottle of lexol cleaner yet. So for now, will a wet towel, soap and water do?

Damp towel is OK. Unless it's pretty nasty stuff, you shouldn't need the soap.

i second the water, no soap. then finish it up with some of that lexol. oh, there is a thread on here saying that lexol rings up as $5 at the register at pep boys, even though it's listed at $10 or something. and haha, maybe get a new hair gel? herbal essences smells really good and it's not so gooey. good luck.

g35girl hehe, i didnt know they sell lexol at pepboys, autozone... even better, i can just run to the store n buy some rather than ordering online. Do they have 303 aerospace there as well? Im just too lazy to order for some reason.

Re: Stuff on my leather seats!

I have found 303 at marine supply stores (West Marine, etc). Hopefully there is one near you. If you use it on your dash, just becareful b/c many peeps have had issues with getting it on the clear plastic by the gauges, clock, and HVAC display. They had problems with it etching in. The fix that works is using Mothers or Meguires plastic polish which usually solves the trick. You can also use the polish on your headlights to remove any cloudyness that will develop!

Lexol is highly recommended! I just cleaned all the seats and arm rest with Lexol, then conditioned them with Lexol Conditioner...my seats feel like they did on October 18th, the day i took delivery.
