Question for all those w/ Iforged rims

Hey to all of you w/ Iforged rims in particular, what do you use to keep the lip clean? Just got my high polished Aeros a couple of weeks ago and from day 1 any dried up water would pit the lip, leaving a stain that I cannot take off. I'm afraid to use any polish cause I'm not sure if there's a clear coat that I'll polish off. Any suggestions? I've called Iforged directly and all I get is a "we recommend Meguiar's wheel cleaner" but the product does nothing and is impossible to take off.
On another note, the face of the rim looks good but the lip, when viewed in direct light, is murky and full of polish scratches/swirl marks. Everyone else's this way too?
Thanks for your input

Get some wheel polish, are you sure your wheels are cleared? Most of the iforged polished are just polished.

No, I'm not sure at all but I sure as hell don't want to find out the hard way! I waited three months to get them and I'm not about to flush all that time and money down the drain. I've been trying to get hold of those guys, always get voicemail....
I tried a little Zaino and it seems to have helped a little. Guess I'll try some brands other than Mother's.
BTW I feel for you on your Symbolics (sp?). Can't imagine how I'd have felt if my Iforged didn't fit after that kind of wait. You don't have any kind of recourse?

Get some mothers and give it a go on a small spot. If it turns black fast its not cleared. If it doesnt it then you will know. It wont hurt the finish.
Yeah Im so pissed at them right about now! 3 1/2 months down the tubes! We sent them back and they said they could fix them and send them back the next day. I knew that was BS! I called and they said that "we have a problem" I knew what was coming next! They said about four more weeks, lol! Im getting one hell of a deal on these so its hard to say I dont want them. I left the order as it was and called iforged and ordered the 20" evo's, Ill just sell the symbolics when I get them. I know iforged has been having problems with the chromer so I went with polish. They said it would be about three weeks. Man I sure hope it turns out to be three weeks! This is crazy!

Re: Question for all those w/ Iforged rims

Dude not to rain on your parade cause I know you're going through some stuff right now, but frickin Vince told me four weeks when I first put in my order. Eleven weeks later I was still waiting. Again, not to be negative, just FYI.
When I used the Mother's it did turn black. Didn't do anything, good or bad, just turned black. So I guess I'm free to try something a tad stronger on a small spot, we'll see what happens.
Good luck with these two companies and thanks for the help

P.S. kudos on the wifey!

I've been putting it off until I did something to change the appearance from stock. Guess it's about time to update!

I use the Wenol 3 part polish kit. Works great, but it is hard to to polish these huge 20" lips. I got it off ebay for like $30.
