Scuffed the fender.

So today, as I pull into the driveway, I checked my mirrors before pulling the rest of the back in. CLEAR. I gas it a lil bit and next thing you know it... bang. I scuffed the fender a lil bit. What can I do to restore it like new? What kind of products are out there for me to fix it? Do I have to bodyshop it? How much would that cost? The latter is the last resort. Thanks

Re: Scuffed the fender.

If the scratch is did not break the clear coat a detailer with a high-speed Orbital should be able to get the scratch out.

Be careful where you’re going next time!

Re: Scuffed the fender.

Hello, i've experienced the same situation - only twice! I'm going to wait until all the mods are done on my ride before I bother taking it into a bodyshop. My understanding is that it needs to be sanded, filled if necessary, and repainted. I think it was about $200 to repaint the entire front bumper? Something close to that. Good luck.

Re: Scuffed the fender.

$200 for a repaint of an entire bumper is relatively inexpensive.
I got an estimate for close to $475 when my wife tagged my rear bumper and put two chips in the lower part with her license plate screws.....Make sure they are going to do a good job......

Re: Scuffed the fender.

Your wife too.... What is this a conspiracy against men who speak of their G more fondly than their wife?

I am trying to use the scratches/guilt factor as leverage to go with an entire NISMO body kit...
