Debadged probelm

hardened adhesive? it should look kinda like foam. You need to heat it up with a hair dryer dont use your nails, no sandpaper, no abrasive stuff!
Edit: with the pic, heat up and rub with base of thumb, should come off. Let the bug/tar or googone soak in a bit.

if you just put goo gone on microfiber cloth it will come off. You shouldn't need to put much pressure on it. I've debadged 6 cars and all of them have had this issues. lil good gone and you're good.

I've soaked it for 1/2 hr with goo gone it just doesn't want to come off I think it might be grime buildup not the adhesive. When I run my fingers over it it feels harder then the paint.

Yeah im pretty sure its the foam that gets hardened. I used my finger to rub over the buildup and create friction to get it off. If you use a hair dryer it would probably take it right off. Then use the goo gone to take the rest of the residue.
