scratch question..

Parked my car at a local wal mart and noticed a nice shopping cart scratch on my back bumper. What is the best method in fixing the scratch? I tried mother's scratch remover but did not see any improvements. Any recommendations?

You could wet sand it with 1200 grit if its not through the clear coat and then rub it out, polish it..etc.. but you have to be careful with this approach
