No only the housing is sealed... the bulbes are not sealed in them all you have to do is unscrew by hand a cap with a rubber washer on it to access the bulbs. They wouldn't make it hard to change bulbs that burnout... lol.

Lol sorry...I've only opened the hood 2 times so far and that was to check out the annoyingly awkward shape of the dipstick...i liked my good ole american car where it was straight and a big *** hole to put it back into through, hahaha

Can't speak for any other years or the sedan but my '04 coupe came with 5000K (85126+CM) philips bulbs. It surprised me because they were so yellow. I'm glad I checked them because I was going to switch them to 5000K bulbs but I ultimately switched to ultinons.

Where is the best place to buy the 8k upgrades? You can directly replace the stock HID's with no worries (i.e. plastic melting, etc.)? I know I could use the search function and find out, but I figured I'd ask anyways. Thanks.....
