No only the housing is sealed... the bulbes are not sealed in them all you have to do is unscrew by hand a cap with a rubber washer on it to access the bulbs. They wouldn't make it hard to change bulbs that burnout... lol.

Can't speak for any other years or the sedan but my '04 coupe came with 5000K (85126+CM) philips bulbs. It surprised me because they were so yellow. I'm glad I checked them because I was going to switch them to 5000K bulbs but I ultimately switched to ultinons.

Where is the best place to buy the 8k upgrades? You can directly replace the stock HID's with no worries (i.e. plastic melting, etc.)? I know I could use the search function and find out, but I figured I'd ask anyways. Thanks.....
