To answer the original question, should be just fine. If you truly however want to do a thorough job of removing any old wax and sealants, immediately clay bar your car afterward as well, using a mixture of water and car wash (or detergent) as a lubricant for your bar. Their shouldn't be much resistance on the bar, should feel like a hockey puck across ice, only light to moderate pressure should be needed.
And yes, you generally don't want to wash with dawn or other dish detergents, but in the case of removing old waxes, likely for the *immediate* replacement by Zaino or similar products, the use of them is fine and recommended for best results.
