Re: Is it better than wax??
I don't trust that stuff at all. I have even tried Zanio / Crystal guard on my G and nothing gives it the smoothness that Mothers Pure Carnuba wax or Presta Fast Wax (Good to use when I need to wax in the sun or when I wax something that was just painted becuase it can be used in the sun or used by Body Shops on a freshly painted car) does. I swear by wax 100%!

Re: Is it better than wax??
Short answer: No.
Long answer: No. There is no better wax. Why? Because there really is, unfortunately, no good true wax (sorry Malx). Anybody with a moderate background in chemistry or even geology can explain why-- too soft, doesn't last. Looks GREAT for about a week, then it melts/drips/scuffs off in about a week. Fortunately, human beings aren't capable of perceiving the slow degradation, but it happens. Wax is SO 1970s.
There ARE better polymers, though. Ask about those.

Re: Is it better than wax??
Geo... I wax my car like every 4 days so... yeah. I have never had a problem with wax at all even during long intervals. You just need GREAT wax. When I used Zanio my car looked good for about 2 weeks but it just takes too long to apply all of the stages when I can give my car the same shine with a wax job in 30 minutes. IMO it's not worth it.

Re: Is it better than wax??
Well, if you go every four days, then wax is fine... but I've always lived by "work smarter, not harder".
At four day intervals, you would wax for 46.66 hours per year. At two week intervals, assuming a 30 minute CG application, you'd spend 13 hours. At two week intervals of Zaino, assuming a one-hour application (of true work- you only need a layer of Z2 and Z5), it's 26 hours.
With a touch-up of a wax-based detail spray (I use Meguiars) once a week, you can make a CG'ed car look brand-spanking-new without ever having to buff. That takes less than 5 minutes. Not to mention you really only need to CG your car once every 2 months or so.
Doing that offers you all the protection of the hardest thing out there, plus the soft look of a wax finish. As an added bonus, if you hit a rain storm, or the truck in front of you sprinkles tiny particles all over you, you're MUCH better protected.
So the choice is yours- spend 46 hours going around in circles and never offering your car true protection, but making it look pretty... or spend 13 getting the job done. Oh, and adding 5 min a week to make it look just as pretty
