Yes, I know it's only my beater, but its really annoying at night when the light hits my windshield, because I cant see through the hard water marks. Thats how bad my windows are effed up.

No-Touch brand Glass Stripper worked wonders for me.

bar keepers friend works very well for this problem should be able to find at walmart type stores

UPDATE!

Okay guys, I just decided to just listen to the guy I trust the most, My dad, and he just said use rubbing compound. It worked! No scratches and my windows are super clear. Thanks for your help guys.

Nope. Rubbing compound as in the legitmate one. I used turtle wax rubbing compound.

0000 steel wool from home depot ..

i spray my glass cleaner and then scrub the glass with 0000 steel wool .spray again .. and wipe off .
then hose it down ..(if i have a hose available)

thatl take care of any water spots..

Clay bar works for me. In fact, I just used some Zaino clay last night to remove hard water spots from my roof, windows, and side mirrors.

I was about to come in here and recommend that. I personally used Megs Ultimate Compound and did it by hand, All the water spots go away and you get a nice shine But make sure to IPA wipe the residue you dont want to keep the compound on the glass.

This can also be used on the Silver trim around the windows on sedans.

i have had good luck with steel wool. just make sure you keep it wet. windex worked for me

steel wool 0000 grit and cream window cleaner is what worked for me.
