Can DA do as good as a rotary..

Plain and simple.. Can a griots or pc7424 get the same results a rotary can? Idc if it takes more time or whatever I just wondering can it have the same results? Bringing back oxidized and faded paint.. Can DA do same as rotary..

Or is there things a DA even with heavy polishes and wool pad can't bring back that a rotary can..

the da's can come pretty close but I'm going to say the rotary is still the machine to go with for heavy compound and polishing.

DA = very little chance of of damaging your car, but limited power
Rotory = better capability but increased chance of damaging your paint

Ultimately you can get the job done with a DA, but it will take a lot longer.

My Griot's kit came with an orbital buffer and the ability to change speeds depending on which pad I'm using. I use Machine Polish 3 to remove swirls and scratches and often throw in a little ScratchX just for better results. I've never felt this orbital buffer would damage my paint....used correctly.

Even the Flex? now I know the Flex is the best DA out there. Does that mean it has more of a chance damaging your paint than say PC 7424 or Griots??

I hear flex is pretty damn good as rotary if not as good.
