best way to keep my headlights clean
Don't want to question a senior member but really? I thought 06+'s had a different shape than the 03 -05's..........
it really shouldnt be a big deal ever unless you buy a car that has already yellowed really bad.
From my experience best is to seal the headlights with something like Blackfire Wet Diamond, Klasse Sealant Glaze, etc. every time you wash the car. Due to the heat the sealant won't last as long as it would on your paint, so sealing them often will keep them protected always.
If/when they start to look yellow, rock chipped, etc., sanding then machine polishing works well. Make sure you know what you're doing it or take it to someone that does though. Oh and once you've "fixed" the lights with sanding and polishing, you've usually taken off any UV protection the plastic was coated with, so you'll need to seal them much more often to keep them fresh.
Hope that helps.

That's the exact same thing that's happening to mine. And I can't seem to get it off or go away...

But when stripping off the clearcoat, that just means I have to work even harder to keep them in good condition once I sand it down.
Yeah, it's around the edges like yours. Don't wanna use anything too abrasive where it'll take the clearcoat and UV protection off, so like you said, will be harder to keep in good condition. I might ending up using toothpaste myself and see if that'll help.

Your headlight covers will last a very long time by just normal wash and wax. I wouldn't use a cleaner wax just a quality carnauba wax to protect them from the elements.
