Wash my own car or let the dealer do it (for free)?

+1 to all of the comments. I just posted my story about the swirl marks and surface scratches on my NEW car on this forum.

I was quoted 750 for a clear bra, any thoughts?

i would do the clear bra if i had extra cash, but if we're talking about swirls and scratches, just dont bring it to an auto wash, i would at least clear bra the hood and front bumper

Wash yourself. Not worth messing up the paint. Look at it like spending some quality time taking care of your car! Well worth it.

Yeah I stopped letting the dealer wash it after realizing how many swirls I had.

Here are a couple things I bought so far.. comments/reviews on the below products are welcome.

From.what I just learned, I would stay away from products that give your leather a shine. Leather should have a matte finish

Ohh btw, had my car serviced at Infiniti this past week, I told them no car wash...what do they do....they washed it...simple instructions and they still screw up. They said they'll take care of it w their detailer, we'll see today how that goes, if they can't get all the swirls out then somebody's gonna pay to fix it and that's not me

Great products but aren't those microfiber cloths from Wal-Mart? DO NOT use cheap microfiber cloth as it will just make the paint look worse.. detailed image has some high quality mircofiber cloths, get a bundle to save more money!

I agree, use top quality microfiber products. I usually wash with a "sheepskin" mit. These are extremely soft and do not hold the dirt from one section of the car and risk scratching. Always wash from the top down and use a seperate mit for the bottom of the car.
