there's no picture on the link but anyone have any info on it? i was always under the impression these sort of buffers/polishers were a bit pricier..

anyone have a recommendation for a <$100 buffer?

 

I'd be scared to use that on my car. It's $25 for a reason.

 

i havnt used this particular one but i have used a similar one from Walmart on my old eclipse and they work just fine but i personally liked how my car looked after a hand wax.

 

Hello jryuuu. The buffer from the link above have no correction power. You can only use it to apply either sealants or wax to your car. For the buffer, I own a PC7424XP and I love it. Very easy to use and almost beginner proof.

+1 on the PC. You can find a used one for less than $100. Very reliable.

I read it's top notch. I figured This will probably last a lifetime so it was an investment. German quality, and I hear its very forgiving for new users.

 

The cheap random orbits like the one from auto-zone will give you a hand-quality polish with a lot less work on your part, but they're too big to get in a lot of cracks, so you'll still need to spend some time applying the product by hand. They are no replacement for a dual-action like the PC, but they're still useful in their own right, especially if you're not looking to step into the "professional" line of products.

 

got a good place to look for one? i checked my local craigslist (atlanta) but no luck..

amazon has it listed for $120ish which isn't terrible..

 

The cheap ones worked great for me so far. I took car of the paint the 1st day I got it so I never really needed any major detailing work.

Kinda pricey on the buffers imo. Amazon has the PC 7424xp for $119 w/ free shipping, while they total out to $160 shipped.
