WannabeDetailed: Butchered '05 300C HEMI

Car has 90k on it and the owner has owned it for a couple years now. Actually found me via Facebook and inquired about a detail. He had previously had it detailed at the dealer and they royally botched it (judging by the condition) which can be seen in the pics. Holograms and Swirls Present EVERYWHERE.

Car really cleaned up nicely though. Owner did not even recognize it because it looked so nice!

Products Used:
2Bucket Wash w/ Megs Gold Class and Sheep Skin Mitt
Foam Gun
Meg Clay
M105 on Megs MF Pad
Menzerna SIP on Megs MF Pad (had two buffers working on the car)
M205 on Black LC Pad
Menzerna Power Lock
Pinnacle Signature Series II
Invisible Glass
Sonax Leather Foam
Meg Quick Interior Detailer
Bissel Little Green Machine

Onto Pics.

Dropped off

More Swirls

Paint was fairly contaminated.

Not rids or Holograms lol. The light was so strong that the camera went nuts with the reflection.

Thanks for looking!

Looks good, did you tape while polish jw? Also, do you think megs MF pad works better than orange or yellow LC? When you were done with the rims it made my eyes hurt.

The chrome rims really pop once they have been polished.

And I taped then polished.

And yes and no. The MF pads work awesome on big flat panels (like doors, hoods etc) and are better at getting RIDs out. The LC pads work nicely for more rounded areas and smaller areas. Slightly more flexible.

Nice clean up. If only GM could do something about the terrible orange peel.

Excellent work, dude. Looks like the owner's heel burned a hole in the floor mat. I did the same thing in my old 1995 Tercel.
