Ink removal on headliner???

I noticed a ball point pen mark on the sunroof shade area. What do you guys recommend for ink removal that is not damaging to the material of the sunshade?

RMA! hi. we're you able to remove the ink stain on your headliner? what did you use for it? even if it is just a ball point mark? mine is so much larger and messier because i got it from those darn ink printer cartridges. my kiddos sort of played with it and it got thru the headliner.

There is nothing that won't take out the ink out without removing the dye out of the headliner at the same time, or worse, melt/un-glue the fabric from the cast foam back plate.. Ink woks just like a dye, you can try to carefully bleach it out, and re-color the area.

I have used hairspray on several materials and surfaces. If you saturate the spot and let it sit for about 30 seconds, then lightly wipe and blot the area to pull the hairspray out of the material. You might have to use the whole can, but a $3 can of hairspray is much more affordable than paying someone to re-glue or replace your headliner. Look it up. It's one of those low cost home repairs no one really thinks about.
