Depends on what you use. A pure carnuba wax will last a max of about three months. Less than that on black. Some of the synthetics will last six months to a year depending on the brand and your climate. Zymoil lasts about 10 minutes.

Re: how often do u wax

I wax whenever the water doesn't bead to my liking. I am not personally fond of this task so I do it as infrequently as possible. But then again, if I ever see bird poop, or any other substance that is difficult to remove (like bugs and tar) on my car, I clean and wax that area again.

I feel that any chemical cleaners I apply compromises the the wax coat, I also feel that the intense rubbing you do to remove bugs also compromises the wax as well.

Not sure if I'm right but it makes sense to me.

10 washes will wipe out the average wax . . .

most failed the wax test after 4 weeks without washing, and washing strips wax . . .

Re: how often do u wax

Klasse with one coat of glaze should last about 6 months. The more coats of glaze.....the longer it should last.

Re: how often do u wax

I Zaino'd in Jan. when I got my Coupe. 2 coats of Z-5 and 2 coats of Z-2 with Z-6 in between. Now 4 months later it was almost completely gone. So reapplied 2 coats + 2 coats with Z-6 in between.
Looks like I'll have to reapply more often depending on washing and when the beading disappears.

In the Sunny South I do every other month at a Minimum. Or whenever I don't like how the water is beading and not running right off.
I love to do the Klasse all in one followed by a good carnuba wax.
May try the CG eventually, depending on the feedback here.
