Electric Polisher Tutorial

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but BALZZ and G35BILLS have mentioned this site to me as an info source for using polishers (in this case the Porter Cable brand).
Thought it would be useful to some of you out there who are newbs at using these polishers like me.

Polisher Tutorial

Enjoy

Great article guys, thanks for finding and posting.
I still shy away from a power buffer/polisher, and I still use the armstrong method. You folks are slowly turning me into a convert. I am anxious to hear your personal reports after you use your your new polishers a couple of times.

Excellent, Thanks Bill, I will be there. I tried to order the 7336 model tonight, but they are back-ordered. They said it might be a month or two until they get restocked. I guess that gives me some time to check out all the models.

Got my Polisher

Well Guys, just a follow up with my new Porter Cable Polisher.
I want to give big props to www.carcaresmart.com in British Columbia for such fantastic and quick service. I wanted the PC 7336 but it was sold out and I had been waiting for a while for them to contact me when they restocked them. Well I ended up getting the PC 7336SP which is the same except it costs a couple of dollars more because it includes a bit more accessories. Well they cut me a real good deal and I got order confirmation on the 18th and it is now in my hands on the 25th from BC and they include free shipping. It looks like a nice piece of equipment, I will be glad when this snow goes away andit stops raining so I can put it to good use on my vehicles and boat.
Thanks to Balzz, 35Bills, and GSM for their input on these polishers. (GSM, I have your extra black polishing pad that I will bring on Sunday to the meet).
