Re: Open the trunk ?

Homer, there are no key holes on the G35 trunk (sedan, not sure about the coupe) The 03's have a button under the Infiniti logo, but all the doors need to be unlocked to use it. The 03.5's need to be opened from the inside, or from the remote.

On a side note, the only key hole is on the driver's door.

Re: Open the trunk ?

its the little details like that, which add up to a fine exterior.

on a detailing note - what sort of secret water grabbing spots do you guys have to put up with ?

mirrors ? - i would assume yes
door handle pods ?

etc etc . .. every car has them - sometimes a real pain in the a.....

Re: Open the trunk ?

You are correct, every car has their water traps. I've found that the grill (although I haven't tried the leaf blower recommended in other posts), and the bottom lip of the trunk both give me trouble. Water also collects in the "tray" at the bottom of the windshield.

Re: Open the trunk ?

The leaf blower does work great! Other water trap is where the roof end at the back glass, there is a little channel there. The door handles and on the 2003s behind the emblem on the trunk.

emblems are a bugger . .
that doublesided tape that gets used acts like a sponge, only releasing the water when you are all done and your supplies are stored away . . .
