hey guys i was searching the web for all different types of waxes. i saw one called 5starshine. has anyone used it?..they are making ridiculous claims on this stuff. you can use it once for five years and then just periodically rinse off your car with just water. it seems too good to be true. But i was wondering if anyone used it. check out their website its crazy. im tempted into trying it because they have a 30 day money back gaurantee. what do u guys think?

As a professional detailer that seems to be a very bold claim to me. I have heard of their products but not this claim in particular. I use Klasse, Menzerna and P21S and I don't know of any of their products that last more than a year at best. I would be careful this seems like good marketing. Would you really return it if five years later it's not holding up?. I don't know, I personally probably wouldn't, but who knows maybe it's okay stuff.

I think it might be hard to return the stuff after 30 days because what are you gonna say it didn't last past four months even though it's only been 30 days. Basically you would have to apply it and know right then and there that you didn't want it and return it. I think I'll stick to using the Klasse twins and the Menzerna line. Have you tried the Menzerna FMJ or Klasse twins? I think the HGSG and the FMJ are some of the most durable sealants on the market right now.

I second the Klasse AIO/Klasse SG and P21s. Have been using the Klasse products as long as I can remember. I feel that the P21s carnuba wax is one of the best natural waxes, which one can buy.

Some people might be more than happy to wax once very 5 years. I'll stick to my routine of 5 times a year with regular wax, and another 7 times of spray wax (months of March to November.. Minnesota winters suck for car care!!)

I am also a big fan of the Klasse AIO/FMJ combo. I also use the Menzerna High Gloss spray after every wash.

Good product choice, when you have the right products you can do wonders. I've heard a lot of good things about the High Gloss Acrylic Shield. I have heard it has great shine but what do you think about it's durability. I know your applying on top of the Klasse and Menzerna FMJ so that has to be a great base to start off with.

I don't have a good feel for the durability since I use it once a week after I wash the car, but I know it really has a great gloss and slickness all week. I also have found that after applying and buffing with a MF cloth as directed, I go over the car one last time with a MF bonnet on my orbital and the results are stunning.
