Same thing happened to me - I've emailed zaino about this because I need to restock anyways.

I have given my G35 1 coat of Z5 and 2 coats of Z2 this summer, but on separate days without ZFX with no problems.
I read this thread this morning and I gave my G another coat of Z2 but this time with ZFX. I really didn't notice any difference. .
What's the scoop? Is it only benificial if it is cooler , high humidity and you want to do multiple coats in the same day. Or is it just a gimmic to sell another product.
I don't use ZFX, but I start with the Z1 polish lock and then apply Z2 over that. The Z1 appears to dry clear and fast, almost like alcohol. I assume it has something to do with surface prep and bonding of the polish to the surface based on what I have read.

I have never put Z2 on by itself and others I know that have done this get streaks and lose the finish quicker.
