HELP!

OK so I have been trying to remove these water spots from my exterior windows that are only visible when direct sun hits them, does anyone else have this problem? How can I remove these?

vinegar usually does the trick... 50/50 mix. or you can try a cleaner polish. Something mildly abrasive should definitely work. I usually use a porter cable and Klasse AIO on windows.

i used to work at nissan as a detailer and the way they remove water spots is 2 ways

1. u can get some steel wool and spray the windowns and just wipe the whole window with it and then wipe it down with a towel , that always works

2. u can acid wash your car, basically it removes any water spots on windows or on the paint but you have to wash it off asap after putting some on or the paint might fade

thats how we used to get water spots off and i always keep some steel wool around to wipe my windows if need, oh dont use the steel wool on the rear views, it will jack them up since its like a plastic type of thing, but everything else is good to use

The maker of Rain-X left the company knowing his patent was due to expire soon and he formed Glass Science. I bought their Glass Kit which gets you a bottle of the Glass Scrub and a tube of the Rain Repellent. The Glass Scrub will get rid of those nasty water marks and other grime thats on your windshiled that you didn't even know was there. Then the best part is the Rain Clear Gel. I used to use Rain-X and this stuff is a lot better at repelling the water. Since it's gel based you don't have to worry about the streaking that was common with Rain-X too. Best $6 I've spent in a while.

any kind is good, i use windex or armor all , both work good, and steel wool is kinda like wool as in cotton or such but has abit of steel , so it gives it that abrasive touch to it, dont worry on like if you supposed to wipe it hard or soft, just do it as you would to wipe down a window, i usually spray a good amount on and then steel wool the windows in a circular motion, then just wipe with a clean towel and youll have clean spot free windows, i and i dont know if i mentioned it but dont do the inside windows that would scratch it abit

and to get steel wool go to safeway or walmart, maybe kragen, prettty cheap , and remember to throw them away after your done using 1, cuz they come in a big roll so just rip the amount u want and after your done toss it away
