California Car Duster, Yes or No?
#16
OK, Check this out...
I tried the Cali duster on my Twilight Blue coupe when I first got the car AND it will NEVER touch my car again... I used it on my wifes GS300 with no problem and my old car as well... (both were silverish). I never noticed the fine scratches the Cali duster put in... On my TB coupe I noticed tiny scratches being put into the finish after only using it twice.
My neighbor told me about something called the "KozaK" towel, I gave it a shot AND I LOVE IT. It is perfect between washes and leaves NO scratches in my finish... All you have to do is open the towel up and hold it on the corners and lightly drape it over the car, no rubbing... Check it out at www.kozak.com it works

hmmm, I use my duster up to three days after I wash my car and it works incredibly well on my diamond graphite coupe. BTW - I'm super picky.

The water blade is no good IMHO.
Microfiber towels rule!

The Cali duster is a great tool to have. However, it does have it's limitations. If my car has been sitting in my garage for a week after I washed it I can still use the CD. If the car was even out in the sun after I washed it then I don't use it. Once the dust sits on the car under the sun it tends to get baked on the paint. The only way to clean it is to wash it, using the CD at this point will just scratch your ride.

Anyone try the Kozak towels yet? If not give them a try, I think you will throw that Cali duster away after trying Kozak.
