Sounds like I would be going to either and bringing my own oil. Full synthetic all the way

That's because not many people understand your question. What are you asking?

First off you must mean "Quakerstate"...you're getting screwed if someone is offering to put in "Quikerstate" into your car.
2nd, (I could be wrong on this one) but Mobile 1 should be Syn...I never heard of getting Mobile 1 in a dyno oil version? Maybe someone else can add input.

Mobile 1 does make standard (made from crude), syn blend, and full syn oils (made in lab as byproduct of petrol production). The synthetic oil will help keep your engine a little cleaner, and allow you to go a little longer between oil changes if you choose without fear of engine damage.

The dealership should be able to do Mobil 1 full synthetic. That would be my number one choice.

If you can't get it I'd just go with the standard Mobil 1.

If that's the case, depending on the mileage on the car, just use the normal dyno oil if you still have under 10K miles. Try finding a place that will use mobile 1 Syn if you have 10K<.
Personally I'd try doing it myself. It's pretty easy on the G.

I agree. An oil change is very easy. Unless it was an emergency, I would change the oil myself. That way you always know that your car recieved the best treatment pssible.

I can't think of an emergency that requires an oil change.

Mobile has regular oil but it is not labeled Mobil 1. The question is what type of service interval and type of driving are you doing?

3750mi interval of mostly highway mileage at least every 4 months dino(regular) oil will be fine.

7500 mi interval at least every 6 months or alot of stop and go driving/hard driving Mobil 1 full synthetic might be a good idea.

Or you could be just a little nuts like alot of us and use Mobil 1 either way.
