Headlights are pissing me off
I need to know, is there ANYWAY at all, to keep these lights clear and not start clouding over? I can use car wax to clean it so its clear, but it looks like some of the cloudiness is actually inside the housing, and i can put wax on it to clean it. I believe these stock lights are made of plastic, and that might be part of the cause, so I would love to know...are there any GLASS headlights available for the coupes that wont get cloudy?

if the haziness is on the inside (moisture) then any exterior polishing you do won't help any. turn on your lights and let the housing heat up and see if that haziness goes away. other options if it's more extreme exterior deterioration of the housing, wetsanding + polishing will bring it back.
I had the same problem on my 04 coupe!! Easiest solution I found was to buy the clear bra for the headlights and then problem solved!! If its on the outside of course that is.
Have the Clear Bra on my 05 coupe now and no problems yet.

well, as i stated prior, i can clean the outside and get it pretty clear, but the inside still has some cloudiness to it. so i would like to find a way to clean the whole thing. But i think to do that, i have to take the headlight housing apart, and that is just too much BS to go through

I have the same problem. Its soo annoying. i was thinkin of takin the lights out, takin a coat hanger with napkins on the end, stick it in and start cleaning it.
But serious, its a bitch to do that. I think the next best thing is to take it to infiniti dealer and make them replace it

All cars with the plastic headlights require care, it's more obvious on the G due to the angle of the light, I used 3M Plastic Cleaner, and their Polish on my '04, worked pretty well, on my '05, I am keeping them waxed. I really doubt the Z has a different material, and I really doubt it would be glass, they haven't used glass since cars had the replaceable headlights.
