need help removing cigarette burn on hood

I arrived at my car this morning to a cigarette on my hood. It left a nice burn mark. Anyone know a method of removing the brown stain. I have yet to determine if it burned the paint. I'm hoping it is repairable. 2003.5 vehicle..less than a month old!

try some cleaner/wax. If your car is waxed that may take it off no probs. Good luck and let us know how it turned out.

Obviously that was a very inconsiderate and possible jealous smoker!

Hopefully it's just a tar/nicotine stain and not a burn!
