Fmj

Well, I've tried most of the waxes & synthetics over the years. Some where great, some sucked. I just applied FMJ to my G (by hand) and WOW, can't believe the results. The surface is like glass & feels like it. The great part is I barely used any, plus it dries to a powdery finish that wipes off easily. I didn't prep the paint, just a good washing. I can only imagine what it would look like if I had access to a PC buffer & some pre-polish.
I give it a thumbs up. I tossed my last purchase (Tech wax) in the recycler bin. Check the search function for a thread on this stuff if interested.

Glad to see you're happy with FMJ. The slickness really blows everyone away.

Full Molecular Jacket - it's a sealant made by Menzerna. You can find places to buy it online.

Ok Thanks, What would I need to do to prep my car before I apply FMJ? Also I have alot of swirl marks and the previous owners had it buffed and you can see the deep swirl marks in the paint. What do you you I can do about that?

Well that's a pretty big topic - essentially what you need to do is polish the paint with a compound and machine (either random orbit or rotary). To get some general how-to and beginners info on that I'd head to this link and start reading.

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/inf-polishing.html

That entire site (and the forums attached to it) are a wealth of detailing information.
