Leather Seat Care
Leather Seat Care
What are you guys using on your leather seats to condition and/or treat? My leather on my driver seat is starting to crinkle a bit and I need to do something about it. Just looking for suggestions and didn't see anything using the search on the the site. TIA.

Didn't find anything with search? Odd. There are several posts on that subject in the Detail forum.
The general consensus I seem to get is: Lexol. Both the cleaner and the conditioner.

Corona Light works well
my girlfriend jsut spilled beer on mine the other night. shoulda seen her face when I made her clean my seats and my carpet for me (i took out the seat and carpet mats to make it easier for her. But they are soft, clean and conditioned again now.
on a serious note, keep em out of the sun as much as possible and make sure you put some kind of protectant/moisturizer on em during the winter or they will dry out.

Re: Leather Seat Care
I use Lexol leather cleaner and Lexol leather conditioner as recommended in the Detailing Tips by Brad. It make the leather soft and supple - easy to use too.

Re: Leather Seat Care
thanks everyone for the info. It appears to be user error on my part with the search. I'm gonna try to Lexol. Thanks again.

i'll give you a tip, don't use too much of the lexol conditioner.... it will make the leather sticky. use a small amount and be sure to wipe any excess off.
