Ok, I washed my car with mr clean wash thingy and dried it with a microfiber towel....then I used meguiars NXT and buffed it off with microfiber towel......after a day, i noticed that on the trunk and on the roof of the car there are mini circles all over the place...then i tried to clean it with witht he micro fiber towel w/o water but it didnt go away........SO what should i do?!?! I think it may have been that that part of the car was in the sun while i was washing and waxing? thx for the help

I am presuming that the mini circles were not there before and that the mf towels used (to dry and take off the wax) were clean, not dropped etc. If it's wax residue, some touch up with a quick detailer might help. I know it's not recommended but I also usually wash in the sun (where else can you really wash your car) and sometimes wax in the sun (hopefully not to hot a day...). I use klasse aio and then layer on p21s (or s100) and have had no problems. What I like about those products are that both of them are a "apply and wipe off" with no waiting.... good luck.

Perhaps you should just rewash car with regular dawn to remove the wax and then polish your car with Klasse AIO or Meguiar's #83 DACP to see if the circles disappear. Then apply a good sealant or wax.

They sound like swirl marks. If they are, just use some polish like Klasse AIO or Menzerna FP2. It should get rid of most of them. Good luck.

FWIW, if you guys ever find dried wax residue on your paint a good way to get it off is to apply more wax right over it. The oils in the wax will soften the dried stuff and it'll all wipe away.

Cheers.

Mr. Clean my #@%

I too once used the Mr. Clean rinse and wash system the day after I buffed and waxed my car. I wanted to cry after it dried. The paint looked horrible. I think the Mr. Clean system is intended to be used on unwaxed crappy vehicles. I had to go back over and re wax my car to get rid of the residue.
