Does that company do other finances as well. Looking to buy a house but something a little newer. Was just curious to see if that mortgage company helps for other locations?

Yes, I work with several mortgage companies that can work with you. It's really going to depend on your credit, job history, and the amount of money you can bring for a down payment.

Let me know if you want any more info...

I was looking at buying without a down...But some of my friends tell me that they were probably the last to do that due to the economy

Well believe it or not it's still possible to buy with no money down ... but all your ducks would have to be in line. If you are eligible for FHA financing and you can find a house that will appraise for well over asking price, you can roll the down payment back into the loan (effectively increasing your monthly mortgage payment).

So it still can happen but it's definitely not guaranteed nor easy. It really depends on your situation with credit, income, etc. It's always best to try to get prequalified or pre-approved for a loan before you even start looking for a house. That way you know exactly how much you can afford before you start drooling over some huge mansion that you think is in your budget
