What not to do with a G37...

So I got season tickets to the races at Texas Motor Speedway. It was going to be the start of an FUN Weekend! Went on Friday for the qualifying and Big & Rich concert. Pretty good concert. Going home, the GPS tells me to go down this one road. Road was flooded so I stop and turn around.

Then this happens.............

My car gets stuck in the mud!!!
I wasn't the only one to get stuck. About 3 cars got stuck, but i was the worst one stuck. After about an hour, some guys were able to push me out. So this is what my car looks like after.....

The undercarriage. You can see the chunks of mud stuck under there!!

I took off my shoes before I got back in the car and put them in a bag but still got on my seat

Some of the chunks of mud after i sprayed my car off

And what my dress shoes looked like when I got home

So I don't know if I messed anything up but my car sounds different. Didn't sound as bad after I sprayed it off but still funky!

Moral of the story.......Don't always listen to your GPS

Wow, this might be a first for G35/7 mods ... OFF ROAD kit!!!

Not sure why the sound would be different unless there is caked on mud that is insulating your exhaust or undercarriage, it's like a free coat of sound barrier!!

so i finally detailed my car yesterday....

there are a bunch of scratches all over where the guys were trying to push me out. nothing too deep, should be able to get buffed out. there are also a bunch of scratches on my wheels too. most of them are on the rear passenger wheel.

so now i'm really considering getting my wheels powdercoated to a darker color. something like the GT-R color . but i still need to find out first if i can do it since my car is leased. anybody know if i can?
