Vanity Mirror replacement bulb?

That's what I was thinking this AM, since I purchased the bulbs, if I could take it out of the glass, and take the caps off, I could glue the board down, and solder the conections after removing the old bulbs.

Just need to know how to remove the LED from the glass, and which side is + & -. If you cut the old bulb out, and put the LED in, which side was +? Thanks.

If you can wait, the bulbs just arrived today. I'll put together a DIY for this with plenty of pics tomorrow night.
