Two cars got broken into in same apt complex.
It happened from lewisville ballantyne apt.
I know I should't have left my radar(Passport 8500 X50) in the car. Anywayz It already happened.
Maybe I am the only one who leaves the radar in the car.
Still I just wanted warn lewisville G35 drivers to watch out for robbery.

damn, sorry to hear that. honestly, i always left my radar detector on my windshield, never had a problem. with todays economy, who knows, we might be seeing an increase in car thefts/break-ins. Hope everything else with the car was ok.

 

I leave my bracket for the V1 on, but leave it locked in the glovebox. Hell, I don't ever use it intill I am driving more than 30 miles somewhere.

 

****ING BALLANTYNE APARTMENTS! I used to live there and had my car stolen, not just broken into! Right around Christmas time... Sorry to hear about that man.

 

There are a lot of people who will break into a car even if they see the bracket on the window, knowing that it's most likely still in the car.

We tell our hotel guests to take off the bracket, wipe off the circles and bring the GPS/Radar detector inside. Lots of cars being broken into because of how things are going.

 

+1 on this advice. I take my radar and bracket of each time I park my car at the metro. Additionally I wipe of the circle marks with a microfiber towel I have in the car.

And I am moving out from this apt complex. Going back to where I use to live. It is not a good place to move back either. I got my car egged last year around this time. So I am planning to get garage this time..
