twalls and I took some shots at lunch down the street from work. Sun was just directly overhead and not forgiving at all...zero clouds too. Felt good though out there.

i went to Beni Hana the other day...not the same as the one off of 635 in my opinion.

do any of you guys do photography as a side job or profession? i've been wanting to get into photographing cars....anyone wanna offer up their car for me to snap some pics???

 

I've been to quite a few Benihana's, and the one in the Shop's at Legacy was easily the worst one.... I am hoping it was because they are new. I may try it again in another 3-6 months.

 

agreed. the atmosphere was way off and the service was crap at best (in comparison to the others). i didn't get the same feeling there that i do at the other, older, Beni Hana locations. meh...

 

I think we should get together and do a meet for this. There are quite a few people around that seem to know what they are doing, and some others that would like to learn. I just got a DSLR camera, and I would like to get some tips. I have figured out a few things, but I am sure there is more it can do. If we get together for a meet, there will be plenty of cars to shoot....

 

yeah, i have been shotting with my dSLR for a while now, but i don't have any rides to shoot (other than my own which isn't much ) and i'm not gonna be "that guy" who oogles over every gtr/r8/lambo/whatever for hours and take pictures all over the place...not my style.

if anyone is down for a mini-meet for photoshooting purposes (maybe even a lunch meet since i know a lot of you guys work in the legacy/tollway area like i do), let's hit this up. i'm dying to get some nice shots of some nice G's. if anyone is really interested, i'll even throw down some prints of any of the cars if people are interested.
